California High School Basketball - Escalon falls to Ripon

The Ripon Indians basketball team scored 67 points and held the visiting Escalon Cougars to 55 in the Indians league triumph on Tuesday.

The Indians now sport a 11-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hughson for a Trans Valley contest on Friday, February 5. Ripon will meet a Huskies team coming off a 65-36 league loss to Riverbank (Riverbank, CA). The Huskies record now stands at 2-17.

The Cougars (14-8) will now prepare for their contest against Modesto Christian (Modesto, CA). The Crusaders enter the Trans Valley contest with a 12-8 record. In their last contest, Modesto Christian ran past Ripon Christian (Ripon, CA), 66-54, in a league contest.
