Strath Haven Panthers (Wallingford, PA) followers went home satisfied Thursday as they saw their soccer squad get by the visiting Haverford Fords (Havertown, PA), 1-0 in a league test.

The Panthers now sport a 6-4 record. They play next when they travel to Harriton for a Central test on Tuesday, October 13. Strath Haven will meet a Rams squad coming off a 8-0 non-league win over Friends' Central (Wynnewoode, PA). The Rams record now stands at 8-5.

With the loss, Haverford drops to 6-6 on the season. The Fords host Springfield (Springfield, PA) to meet the Cougars in a Central test on Tuesday, October 13. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 6-5. Springfield 3-3 in their recent non-league test against Great Valley (Malvern, PA)
