The Newton North Tigers basketball team scored 86 points and held the visiting Weymouth Wildcats to 45 in the Tigers league triumph on Friday.

The Tigers now sport a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Mission for a non-league contest on Sunday, January 31. Newton North will meet a Titans team coming off a 48-16 league win over Boston English (Boston, MA). The Titans record now stands at 10-2.
