North Carolina High School Volleyball - Riverside tips South Granville
September 15, 2014: Creedmoor, NC 27522 Riverside Pirates (Durham, NC) backers left the game in high spirits Monday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the host South Granville Vikings (Creedmoor, NC), 3-2 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Pirates battle the Hillside Hornets (Durham, NC) in a 4A PAC-6 match, on Tuesday, September 16. Riverside will attempt to better on its 8-3 season record. The Hornets come into the match with a 1-1 record after their 3-0 league loss to Jordan (Durham, NC).
With the loss, South Granville drops to 10-2 on the campaign. The Vikings host Warren County (Warrenton, NC) to battle the Eagles in a 2A Northern Carolina outing on Tuesday, September 16. The Eagles go into the outing with a record of 1-6. Warren County lost 3-2 in their recent league outing against Southern Vance (Henderson, NC)
