The Comenius Knights basketball team scored 68 points and restricted the visiting Westridge Academy Golden Knights to 66 in the Knights non-league victory on Saturday.
The Knights now sport a 18-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Grace Academy for a Charlotte Area Christian contest on Tuesday, January 9. Comenius will battle a Lions team coming off a 74-59 league win over Carolina Christian (Locust, NC). The Lions record now stands at 7-7.
The Golden Knights (12-6) will now prepare for their contest against Faith Assembly Christian Academy (Durham, NC). The Lions come into the non-league contest with a 2-9 record. In their last contest, Faith Assembly Christian Academy was nudged by Winston-Salem Preparatory Academy (Winston-Salem, NC), 78-57, in a non-league contest.
