October 2, 2010: Brooklyn, NY 11213 In Saturday's league game, the Lincoln Railsplitters (Brooklyn, NY) football team knocked off the host Boys & Girls Kangaroos (Brooklyn, NY), by a final score of 40-24.
The Railsplitters (4-0) will now prepare for their game against Midwood (Brooklyn, NY). The Hornets come into the PSAL Championship game with a 1-3 record. In their last game, Midwood was dropped by Port Richmond (Staten Island, NY), 43-42, in a league game.
The Kangaroos now hold a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tottenville for a PSAL Championship game on Sunday, October 10. Boys & Girls will battle a Pirates team coming off a 34-0 league win over Sheepshead Bay (Brooklyn, NY). The Pirates record now stands at 4-0.
