California High School Soccer - Woodside Priory held off by Del Mar
December 16, 2017: Portola Valley, CA 94028 The crowd at Saturday's non-league test between the Del Mar Dons (San Jose, CA) and the host Woodside Priory Panthers (Portola Valley, CA), saw Del Mar's soccer squad get by Woodside Priory by a margin of 1-0.
The Dons now sport a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Branham for a non-league test on Friday, December 29. Del Mar will meet a Bruins squad coming off a 6-0 non-league win over Harbor (Santa Cruz, CA). The Bruins record now stands at 2-4.
With the loss, Woodside Priory drops to 3-3 on the season. The Panthers travel to Menlo School (Atherton, CA) to meet the Knights in a non-league test on Tuesday, January 9. The Knights come into the test with a record of 1-6. Menlo School lost 5-2 in their recent non-league test against San Benito (Hollister, CA)
