The Saguaro Sabercats baseball team scored 9 runs and limited the host Chaparral Firebirds to 8 in the Sabercats non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Sabercats (3-2) will now prepare for their match against Seton Catholic (Chandler, AZ). The Sentinels go into the II Section III match with a 1-3 record.

The Firebirds (2-3) will now prepare for their match against Pinnacle (Phoenix, AZ). The Pioneers go into the I Section III match with a 1-2 record. In their last match, Pinnacle edged Boulder Creek (Anthem, AZ), 14-3, in a non-league match.
