Rhode Island High School Basketball - Shea holds off Narragansett
January 9, 2019: Pawtucket, RI 02860 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Shea Raiders (Pawtucket, RI) and the visiting Narragansett Mariners (Narragansett, RI), saw Shea's basketball squad hold off Narragansett by a tally of 71-69.
With the victory, Shea improves its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Sanchez Complex (Providence, RI) to confront the Cavaliers in a Division II challenge on Friday, January 11. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a record of 5-3. Sanchez Complex won 71-54 in their recent league challenge against Moses Brown (Providence, RI)
Next up, the Mariners confront the Prout Crusaders (Wakefield, RI) in a Division II challenge, on Friday, January 11. Narragansett will attempt to improve on its 5-4 season record. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a 1-7 record after their 72-45 league loss to Middletown (Middletown, RI).
