The Amherst-Pelham Regional Hurricanes basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the visiting Minnechaug Regional Falcons to 47 in the Hurricanes non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Hurricanes now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Agawam for a non-league contest on Friday, January 12. Amherst-Pelham Regional will battle a Brownies team coming off a 60-37 league loss to Longmeadow (Longmeadow, MA). The Brownies record now stands at 2-7.

The Falcons (0-8) will now prepare for their contest against East Longmeadow (East Longmeadow, MA). The Spartans come into the non-league contest with a 4-4 record. In their last contest, East Longmeadow dropped by Pope Francis (Chicopee, MA), 69-68, in a non-league contest.
