Connecticut High School Basketball - Tolland trounces Stafford
January 6, 2009: Stafford Springs, CT 06076 The Tolland Eagles (Tolland, CT) basketball crushed the host Stafford Bulldogs (Stafford Springs, CT), 63-33 in Tuesday's league test.
The Eagles (5-3) will now prepare for their test against Canton (Canton, CT). The Warriors go into the North Central Connecticut test with a 7-0 record. In their last test, Canton walloped Coventry (Coventry, CT), 43-34, in a league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bolton for a North Central Connecticut test on Thursday, January 8. Stafford will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 53-41 league loss to Ellington (Ellington, CT). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-3.
