In Friday's league game, the Seward Bluejays (Seward, NE) football team smashed the host Crete Cardinals (Crete, NE), by a final score of 50-7.

The Bluejays (5-1) will now prepare for their game against Hastings (Hastings, NE). The Tigers come into the B District 3 game with a 3-3 record. In their last game, Hastings was trounced by York (York, NE), 42-21, in a league game.

The Cardinals now hold a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Beatrice for a B District 3 game on Friday, October 5. Crete will battle a Orangemen team coming off a 49-7 league loss to Northwest (Grand Island, NE). The Orangemen record now stands at 0-6.
