Game Summary
Today the Pilots fell to Fontbonne Hall by a score of 18-8. Ultimately they were mercied but the final score does not tell the tale. Spellman led this game 6-3 through 3 innings and 7-6 until Fontbonne came up with a big 8 run 5th inning. It seems this year that the Pilots have no problem scoring early and taking a lead even against the best of teams, but there is always 1 inning where the defense falls apart leading to mercy loses. Hopefully Spellman can turn this around before it gets too late in the season because this is truly a talented but inconsistent group of players.
