Timber Creek Falcons (Fort Worth, TX) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting McKinney Lions (McKinney, TX), 56-45 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Timber Creek upgrades its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Falcons host Northwest (Justin, TX) to play the Texans in a 6A Region I District 5 bout on Friday, January 9. The Texans enter the game with a record of 5-7.

With the defeat, McKinney moves to 6-6 on the year. The Lions travel to Keller Central (Keller, TX) to face the Chargers in a non-league game on Saturday, December 13.
