In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Mercer Mustangs football squad scored a good 28-0 victory over the Saegertown Panthers.

In their next game, the Mustangs clash with the West Middlesex Big Reds (West Middlesex, PA) in a District 10 Region 1 match, on Friday, October 12. Mercer will attempt to move on its 3-4 season record. The Big Reds enter the match with a 6-1 record after their 28-0 non-league win over Cambridge Springs (Cambridge Springs, PA).
