Match Summary
For both of our tournaments this year we have ended the day in the #2 spot. After the second place finish at the Sylvan-Lucas tournament, we were in hopes of winning this Osborne Tourney. We were in position to make this happen as a win for us again Osborne in the last match would have put us both at 3-1 for the day and the head to head tie breaker would have been in our favor. We played well, but just couldn't get over the hump. We served and passed very well (serve receive and digs) and I was also very pleased with our net defense. If there was something that seemed to haunt us during the whole day it was hitting errors and this was part of the trouble against Osborne. We had a rough week as far as keeping our players healthy as we had 5 injuries occurring from Wednesday morning until the end of the tournament. Two of these were starters who missed all or most of the tournament. Two were individuals we rely on very heavily as we prepare for tournaments and are varsity subs.
