The Hempstead Bobcats basketball team scored 99 points and held the host Fayetteville Lions to 37 in the Bobcats non-league triumph on Friday.

The Bobcats now sport a 12-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Weimar for a non-league contest on Friday, December 30. Hempstead will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 55-54 non-league loss to Tidehaven (El Maton, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-6.
