St. Petersburg Green Devils (St. Petersburg, FL) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Bakersfield Drillers (Bakersfield, CA), 66-50 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, St. Petersburg upgrades its record to 9-0 on the campaign. The Green Devils travel to Franklin (Seattle, WA) to play the Quakers in a non-league bout on Friday, December 29. The Quakers come into the bout with a record of 8-0. Franklin won 63-53 in their recent non-league bout against British Columbia Christian Academy (Port Coquitlam, British Columbia) (, )
