California High School Soccer - South East knocks off Elizabeth Learning Center
January 3, 2009: South Gate, CA 90280 South East Jaguars (South Gate, CA) boosters went home happy Saturday as they saw their soccer squad knock off the visiting Elizabeth Learning Center Bulldogs (Cudahy, CA), 5-2 in a non-league outing.
The Jaguars now own a 7-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to San Pedro for a non-league outing on Saturday, January 3. South East will meet a Pirates squad coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Palos Verdes (Palos Verdes Estates, CA). The Pirates record now stands at 4-3.
With the loss, Elizabeth Learning Center drops to 1-5 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Annenberg (Los Angeles, CA) to meet the Panthers in a non-league outing on Saturday, January 3. The Panthers come into the outing with a record of 2-2. Annenberg won 2-1 in their recent non-league outing against Community Charter (Lakeview Terrace, CA)
