August 24, 2010: Freer, TX 78357 The Zapata Hawks volleyball team (Zapata, TX), was dropped 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league challenge with the host Freer Buckaroos (Freer, TX)
The Buckaroos (2-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Benavides (Benavides, TX). The Eagles enter the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Benavides was dropped by St. Augustine (Laredo, TX), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Hawks meet the Port Isabel Tarpons (Port Isabel, TX) in a 3A Region IV District 32 challenge, on Saturday, September 4. Zapata will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record.
