Match Summary

The Braves opened the second half of the Fishers tournament with a re-match against fellow Circle City Conference member Bishop Chatard and the Trojans managed some revenge after an earlier loss by defeating the Braves 2-1. The Braves came out sluggish but the Trojans weren't much more active, although they managed to find a rhythm around their 17th point and pulled ahead by four and maintained that lead until the end of the first set. The second set found Brebeuf playing sluggishly again but a renewed sense of urgency manifested and they pulled ahead about halfway through the game to even the match. The third set was, at least initially, a set of runs with Chatard pulling ahead by five points and then Brebeuf evening it back with their own five point run. Things went back and forth through the rest of the set until Chatard managed to create a three point gap at 7-10. A serving miscue near the end of the third set prevented the Braves from mounting a comeback.
