January 25, 2017: Tompkinsville, KY 42167 The Monroe County Falcons (Tompkinsville, KY) basketball nipped the visiting Holy Cross Indians (Covington, KY), 52-49 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Falcons (26-5) will now prepare for their test against Bellbrook (Bellbrook, OH). The Golden Eagles go into the Southwestern Buckeye - Southwestern test with a 13-5 record. In their last test, Bellbrook was tipped by Beavercreek (Beavercreek, OH), 49-37, in a non-league test.
The Indians now own a 14-9 record. They play next when they travel to Campbell County for a non-league test on Wednesday, January 25. Holy Cross will encounter a Camels squad coming off a 44-33 non-league win over Harrison County (Cynthiana, KY). The Camels record now stands at 16-6.
