September 17, 2010: Lafayette, LA 70501 The Northside Vikings (Lafayette, LA) football overcame the visiting Carencro Bears (Lafayette, LA), 34-17 in Friday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Vikings face the Opelousas Tigers (Opelousas, LA) in a 4A District 6 bout, on Friday, September 24. Northside will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Tigers enter the bout with a 1-2 record after their 15-14 non-league win over Port Allen (Port Allen, LA).
The Bears (1-2) will now prepare for their bout against Lafayette (Lafayette, LA). The Lions enter the non-league bout with a 2-1 record. In their last bout, Lafayette thwarted Eunice (Eunice, LA), 27-10, in a non-league bout.
