Benton Central Bison (Oxford, IN) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting North Montgomery Chargin' Chargers (Crawfordsville, IN), 55-51 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Benton Central upgrades its record to 6-10 on the season. The Bison travel to Rensselaer Central (Rensselaer, IN) to clash with the Bombers in a Hoosier - West bout on Thursday, February 9. The Bombers go into the bout with a record of 11-6. Rensselaer Central won 64-54 in their recent non-league bout against Delphi Community (Delphi, IN)

Next up, the Chargin' Chargers clash with the Frankfort Hot Dogs (Frankfort, IN) in a Sagamore bout, on Friday, February 10. North Montgomery will attempt to improve on its 6-11 season record.
