The Landon Bears basketball team (Bethesda, MD), was toppled 66-54 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Sidwell Friends Quakers (Washington, DC)

The Quakers now possess a 13-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Flint Hill for a Mid-Atlantic battle on Tuesday, January 24. Sidwell Friends will confront a Huskies team coming off a 58-47 league loss to Potomac School (McLean, VA). The Huskies record now stands at 4-12.

The Bears (6-10) will now prepare for their battle against St. Stephen's & St. Agnes (Alexandria, VA). The Saints come into the Interstate Athletic battle with a 10-6 record. In their last battle, St. Stephen's & St. Agnes beat Bishop Sullivan Catholic (Virginia Beach, VA), 54-51, in a non-league battle.
