December 9, 2016: Amarillo, TX 79107 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Hobbs Eagles (Hobbs, NM) and the host Palo Duro Dons (Amarillo, TX), saw Hobbs's basketball squad overcome Palo Duro by a tally of 57-46.
With the victory, Hobbs improves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Clovis (Clovis, NM) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 13. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 4-3. Clovis lost 64-42 in their recent non-league challenge against Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM)
Next up, the Dons confront the Plainview Bulldogs (Plainview, TX) in a 5A Region I District 3 challenge, on Wednesday, December 14. Palo Duro will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 7-2 record after their 53-45 non-league loss to Trinity Christian (Lubbock, TX).
