The Blue Hill Bobcats (Blue Hill, NE) basketball knocked off the visiting Sandy Creek Cougars (Fairfield, NE), 31-21 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Bobcats (11-4) will now prepare for their test against Lawrence-Nelson (Nelson, NE). The Raiders go into the D2 District 6 test with a 6-10 record. In their last test, Lawrence-Nelson notched a victory over High Plains (Polk, NE), 45-22, in a non-league test.

The Cougars now own a 5-9 record. They play next when they travel to Thayer Central for a non-league test on Saturday, January 21. Sandy Creek will encounter a Titans squad coming off a 40-30 non-league loss to Tri County (DeWitt, NE). The Titans record now stands at 2-11.
