The Homer Mariners football team (Homer, AK), was tipped 21-16 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the host Kenai Central Kardinals (Kenai, AK)

The Kardinals (7-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Barrow (Utqiagvik, AK). The Whalers come into the non-league challenge with a 6-2 record. In their last challenge, Barrow nipped Houston (Big Lake, AK), 22-18, in a non-league challenge.
