April 5, 2016: Carrboro, NC 27510 The Jordan-Matthews Jets baseball team (Siler City, NC), was overwhelmed 13-6 in Tuesday's league outing with the host Carrboro Jaguars (Carrboro, NC)
The Jaguars now hold a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Stanly for a non-league outing on Saturday, April 9. Carrboro will face a Colts team coming off a 13-1 league win over Central Academy (Monroe, NC). The Colts record now stands at 7-3.
Next, the Jets face the Northwood Chargers (Pittsboro, NC) in a non-league outing, on Wednesday, April 6. Jordan-Matthews will attempt to advance on its 0-4 season record. The Chargers enter the outing with a 5-1 record after their 9-6 league win over Cedar Ridge (Hillsborough, NC).
