North Carolina High School Basketball - Carmel Christian crushes Non Varsity Opponent
January 9, 2015: Matthews, NC 28105 Carmel Christian Cougars (Matthews, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Non Varsity Opponent (, ), 58-32 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Carmel Christian upgrades its record to 11-6 on the season. The Cougars host Hickory Christian Academy (Hickory, NC) to clash with the Knights in a NCISAA Southern Piedmont bout on Tuesday, January 20. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 8-6.
Next up, the clash with the St. Louis Christian HomeSchool Knights Blue Knights (St. Louis, MO) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 9. Non Varsity Opponent will attempt to upgrade on its 90-151 season record. The Blue Knights go into the bout with a 22-3 record after their 65-40 non-league win over North County Christian (Ferguson, MO).
