South Anchorage Wolverines (Anchorage, AK) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Wasilla Warriors (Wasilla, AK), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, South Anchorage upgrades its record to 12-2 on the season. The Wolverines host Eagle River (Eagle River, AK) to battle the Wolves in a Cook Inlet test on Wednesday, May 17. The Wolves come into the test with a record of 10-4. Eagle River lost 4-3 in their recent non-league test against Chugiak (Chugiak, AK)

With the defeat, Wasilla falls to 17-4 on the season. The Warriors host Colony (Palmer, AK) to battle the Knights in a Railbelt test on Saturday, May 20. The Knights come into the test with a record of 10-4.
