Kentucky High School Basketball - Trimble County topped by Monroe County
January 28, 2017: Bedford, KY 40006 The Monroe County Falcons basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the host Trimble County Raiders to 43 in the Falcons non-league victory on Saturday.
The Falcons now sport a 29-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Harlan for a non-league contest on Sunday, January 29. Monroe County will battle a Green Dragons team coming off a 71-49 non-league win over Leslie County (Hyden, KY). The Green Dragons record now stands at 16-4.
The Raiders (14-6) will now prepare for their contest against Notre Dame Academy (Park Hills, KY). The Pandas come into the non-league contest with a 6-12 record. In their last contest, Notre Dame Academy prevailed over Beechwood (Fort Mitchell, KY), 54-48, in a league contest.
