Georgia High School Basketball - Callaway knocked off by Troup County
December 15, 2017: Hogansville, GA 30230 The Troup County Tigers basketball team scored 65 points and held the host Callaway Cavaliers to 56 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Tigers now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to M.L. King for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 21. Troup County will battle a Lions team coming off a 78-61 league loss to Drew (Riverdale, GA). The Lions record now stands at 3-9.
The Cavaliers (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Greenville (Greenville, GA). The Patriots enter the non-league contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Greenville ran past Lamar County (Barnesville, GA), 56-55, in a non-league contest.
