Texas High School Basketball - Westlake topples A&M Consolidated
November 20, 2015: College Station, TX 77840 In Friday's non-league outing, the Westlake Chaparrals (Austin, TX) basketball squad beat the host A&M Consolidated Tigers (College Station, TX), by a count of 63-53.
The Chaparrals (5-2) will now prepare for their outing against Austin (Austin, TX). The Maroons go into the 6A Region II District 14 challenge with a 0-4 record. In their last challenge, Austin was dropped by Alexander (Laredo, TX), 61-35, in a non-league challenge.
Next up, the Tigers play the Magnolia Bulldogs (Magnolia, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, November 23. A&M Consolidated will attempt to improve on its 3-1 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 53-33 non-league loss to Fort Bend Bush (Richmond, TX).
