Kentucky High School Basketball - Harlan tops Paintsville
January 25, 2017: Harlan, KY 40831 Harlan Green Dragons (Harlan, KY) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Paintsville Tigers (Paintsville, KY), 51-38 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Harlan upgrades its record to 14-4 on the campaign. The Green Dragons travel to Crittenden County (Marion, KY) to play the Rockets in a non-league bout on Friday, January 27. The Rockets come into the bout with a record of 17-3. Crittenden County won 45-42 in their recent non-league bout against Sayre (Lexington, KY)
Next up, the Tigers play the East Ridge Warriors (Lick Creek, KY) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 25. Paintsville will attempt to upgrade on its 19-2 season record. The Warriors come into the bout with a 7-12 record after their 66-42 non-league win over Phelps (Phelps, KY).
