The Glide Wildcats (Glide, OR) football overcame the host Illinois Valley Cougars (Cave Junction, OR), 36-24 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the Central Linn Cobras (Halsey, OR) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 28. Glide will attempt to move on its 4-0 season record. The Cobras enter the bout with a 3-1 record after their 46-8 non-league win over Neah-Kah-Nie (Rockaway Beach, OR).
