California High School Football - Peninsula held off by Inglewood
October 30, 2015: Rolling Hills Estates, CA 90274 In Friday's league game, the Inglewood Sentinels (Inglewood, CA) football team tipped the host Peninsula Panthers (Rolling Hills Estates, CA), by a final score of 2-0.
The Sentinels (1-8) will now prepare for their game against Morningside (Inglewood, CA). The Monarchs come into the Bay game with a 6-3 record. In their last game, Morningside was tipped by Mira Costa (Manhattan Beach, CA), 50-12, in a league game.
The Panthers now hold a 2-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Palos Verdes for a Bay game on Friday, November 6. Peninsula will battle a Sea Kings team coming off a 15-7 league win over Redondo Union (Redondo Beach, CA). The Sea Kings record now stands at 6-3.
