September 9, 2016: Huntingtown, MD 20639 In Friday's league game, the Calvert Cavaliers (Prince Frederick, MD) football team were victorious over the host Huntingtown Hurricanes (Huntingtown, MD), by a score of 13-0.
The Cavaliers (2-0) will now prepare for their game against North Point (Waldorf, MD). The Eagles come into the Southern Maryland game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, North Point knocked off Lackey (Indian Head, MD), 35-15, in a league game.
The Hurricanes now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Westlake for a Southern Maryland game on Friday, September 16. Huntingtown will clash with a Wolverines squad coming off a 44-8 league win over Great Mills (Great Mills, MD). The Wolverines record now stands at 2-0.
