In Tuesday's non-league match, the visiting Woodbury Royals basketball team scored a good 58-49 triumph over the Shakopee Sabers.

In their next game, the Royals confront the Edina Hornets (Edina, MN) in a non-league match, on Thursday, December 13. Woodbury will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Hornets enter the match with a 0-3 record after their 66-62 non-league loss to Austin (Austin, MN).

With the defeat, Shakopee moves to 0-2 on the year. The Sabers host Owatonna (Owatonna, MN) to confront the Huskies in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 13.
