The Plainville Blue Devils (Plainville, CT) football routed the host East Catholic Eagles (Manchester, CT), 49-15 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Blue Devils face the Tolland Eagles (Tolland, CT) in a non-league bout, on Friday, November 2. Plainville will attempt to move on its 4-3 season record. The Eagles enter the bout with a 3-4 record after their 45-11 league loss to Berlin (Berlin, CT).
