The Sheffield Bulldogs nipped the visiting Haleyville Lions softball squad by a final score of 5-4 in Thursday's non-league battle.

The Bulldogs (4-6) will now prepare for their battle against Red Bay (Red Bay, AL). The Tigers go into the non-league battle with a 2-1 record. In their last battle, Red Bay was edged by Hackleburg (Hackleburg, AL), 8-7, in a non-league battle.
