Maryland High School Basketball - Chopticon ripped by Stone
February 5, 2018: Morganza, MD 20660 The Stone Cougars basketball team scored 87 points and held the host Chopticon Braves to 60 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Monday.
The Cougars now sport a 13-5 record. They play next when they travel to McDonough for a Southern Maryland bout on Wednesday, February 7. Stone will play a Rams squad coming off a 65-53 league loss to Lackey (Indian Head, MD). The Rams record now stands at 1-14.
Next up, the Braves play the Great Mills Hornets (Great Mills, MD) in a Southern Maryland bout, on Wednesday, February 7. Chopticon will attempt to upgrade on its 5-13 season record. The Hornets come into the bout with a 11-3 record after their 79-64 league win over Huntingtown (Huntingtown, MD).
