The Mt. Pleasant Vikings walloped the host Brownsville Falcons football team by a count of 41-7 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, Mt. Pleasant upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The Vikings travel to Charleroi (Charleroi, PA) to encounter the Cougars in a WPIAL AA Interstate outing on Friday, October 16. The Cougars go into the outing with a record of 0-6. Charleroi lost 67-8 in their recent league outing against Washington (Washington, PA)

With the loss, Brownsville moves to 1-5 on the season. The Falcons travel to Derry (Derry, PA) to encounter the Trojans in a WPIAL AA Interstate outing on Friday, October 16. The Trojans go into the outing with a record of 3-3. Derry won 20-14 in their recent league outing against McGuffey (Claysville, PA)
