Florida High School Baseball - Baker County defeats Eagle's View
March 17, 2012: Glen St. Mary, FL 32040 Spectators at Saturday's non-league battle between the Baker County Wildcats (Glen St. Mary, FL) and the visiting Eagle's View Warriors (Jacksonville, FL), saw Baker County's baseball squad knock off Eagle's View by a count of 7-2.

Game Summary
On Saturday in the Tournament of Champions, the Warriors played the Baker Co. Wildcats. The Cats jumped on top scoring a run in the top of the 1st. The Warriors would respond in the bottom of the inning. Leadoff hitter Searcy got plunked and acvanced to 2nd. on a sac bunt by Calder. When the 2nd. baseman booted a grounder hit by Nick, Khalil scored tying the game. Baker Co. added a run in the 2nd. and 2 more in the 3rd. to open things up. EVA tried to rally. Tommy Willits lined a single to left and Noel sacrificed him to 2nd. Searcy singles to shallow center and Tommy had to hold at 2. A double play turned by the Cats ended the Warriors threat. Baker Co. added a run in the 7th. reaching on a single and advancing on an error, scoring on a sac fly. EVA began their last inning with a pinch hit single up the middle by Hale. Johnson followed with a double down the left field line. BB drove in Chase when he grounded out to 2nd. That would be all for this game, making the final 7-4.
