Noxubee County Tigers (Macon, MS) fans left the game satisfied Friday as they observed their football team nudge the host Leake Central Gators (Carthage, MS), 12-7 in a league test.

With the win, Noxubee County improves its record to 4-3 on the season. The Tigers host West Lauderdale (Collinsville, MS) to play the Knights in a 4A Region 4 battle on Friday, October 18. The Knights enter the battle with a record of 6-2. West Lauderdale won 27-20 in their recent league battle against Caledonia (Caledonia, MS)

Coming up next, the Gators play the Houston Hilltoppers (Houston, MS) in a 4A Region 4 battle, on Friday, October 18. Leake Central will attempt to advance on its 5-2 season record. The Hilltoppers enter the battle with a 1-7 record after their 35-13 league loss to Kosciusko (Kosciusko, MS).
