Fans at Friday's league game between the Birch Run Panthers (Birch Run, MI) and the visiting Vassar Vulcans (Vassar, MI), witnessed Birch Run's basketball team trounce Vassar by a score of 65-38.

With the win, Birch Run improves its record to 8-2 on the season. The Panthers travel to Flint Southwestern Academy (Flint, MI) to meet the Knights in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 31. The Knights enter the game with a record of 12-1. Flint Southwestern Academy won 89-50 in their recent league game against Northern (Flint, MI)

Next up, the Vulcans meet the Millington Cardinals (Millington, MI) in a Tri-Valley East game, on Tuesday, February 7. Vassar will attempt to improve on its 1-8 season record. The Cardinals enter the game with a 3-6 record after their 55-43 league win over Garber (Essexville, MI).
