September 14, 2018: Gaylord, MI 49735 The St. Mary Cathedral Snowbirds football team (Gaylord, MI), was knocked off 38-29 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Newberry Indians (Newberry, MI)
The Indians (1-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Boyne City (Boyne City, MI). The Ramblers come into the non-league challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, Boyne City was knocked off by Grayling (Grayling, MI), 36-8, in a league challenge.
The Snowbirds now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Johannesburg-Lewiston for a Northern Michigan - Legacy challenge on Friday, September 21. St. Mary Cathedral will meet a Cardinals team coming off a 34-22 league win over LaSalle (St. Ignace, MI). The Cardinals record now stands at 3-1.
