Connecticut High School Basketball - Woodstock Academy tops Fitch
February 16, 2018: Groton, CT 06340 Woodstock Academy Centaurs (Woodstock, CT) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Fitch Falcons (Groton, CT), 70-59 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Woodstock Academy upgrades its record to 7-14 on the campaign. The Centaurs host Ellington (Ellington, CT) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Monday, February 19. The Knights come into the bout with a record of 8-12. Ellington lost 72-46 in their recent non-league game against Lyman Memorial (Lebanon, CT)
With the defeat, Fitch moves to 3-16 on the year. The Falcons travel to Norwich Free Academy (Norwich, CT) to face the Wildcats in a Eastern Connecticut I game on Monday, February 19. The Wildcats enter the game with a record of 12-7. Norwich Free Academy lost 80-77 in their recent non-league game against Waterford (Waterford, CT)
