Idaho High School Football - Cole Valley Christian gets by Melba
September 30, 2016: Meridian, ID 83642 The Cole Valley Christian Chargers football squad scored 20 points and restricted the visiting Melba Mustangs to 14 in the Chargers league victory on Friday.
The Chargers now possess a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Marsing for a 2A Western Idaho battle on Friday, October 7. Cole Valley Christian will play a Huskies squad coming off a 56-0 league loss to New Plymouth (New Plymouth, ID). The Huskies record now stands at 0-5.
Coming up next, the Mustangs play the Nampa Christian Trojans (Nampa, ID) in a 2A Western Idaho battle, on Friday, October 7. Melba will attempt to advance on its 3-2 season record. The Trojans enter the battle with a 2-3 record after their 26-0 league loss to McCall-Donnelly (McCall, ID).
