October 5, 2012: Chicago, IL 60655 In Friday's league game, the Marist Red Hawks (Chicago, IL) football team tipped the visiting Notre Dame Dons (Niles, IL), by a final score of 21-14.
The Red Hawks (7-0) will now prepare for their game against Benet Academy (Lisle, IL). The Redwings come into the East Suburban Catholic game with a 6-1 record. In their last game, Benet Academy got by Nazareth Academy (LaGrange Park, IL), 49-0, in a league game.
The Dons now hold a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they host Joliet Catholic Academy for a East Suburban Catholic game on Friday, October 12. Notre Dame will battle a Hilltoppers team coming off a 31-24 league win over Carmel (Mundelein, IL). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 6-2.
